As Vice President of Mergers and Acquisitions, David is the visionary for driving growth and expansion through strategic acquisitions, joint ventures, partnerships, greenfielding, and divestitures at Rival.
Before joining the company, David served as Director of Private Equity for Ambassador Enterprises, where he focused on the company’s M&A activity and its relational and business development efforts. Prior to Ambassador Enterprises, David spent 15 years with Do it Best, where he successfully expanded the company’s global reach, opening new markets in Indonesia, South Korea, Cambodia, and Saudi Arabia during an expatriate assignment based in Singapore. He pioneered the international merchandising department and led several teams, including diverse buying departments, global sourcing, content management, pricing, and process improvement.
David graduated from the University of Evansville with a Bachelor of Arts in International Business and a Bachelor’s of Science in Spanish. He later earned his MBA from the University of Notre Dame.
David and his wife Kelly have two wonderful children, Emma and Lucas. They’re also proud foster parents. David enjoys running, playing golf, reading, and investing in family time.
