Jerod leads as Rival’s VP of Innovation and Strategy. In this role, he is responsible for growing Rival’s focus on early-stage investments and the rapidly changing built environment. Core to this is Jerod’s diligent focus on strategy and brand evolution.
Before joining the built platform of Rival, Jerod led brand and strategy at Ambassador Supply, which he joined in 2018. Through his time there, he grew in his understanding of and capacity to serve the broader ecosystem. For four years prior to joining Ambassador Supply, Jerod served with Ambassador Enterprises in a variety of capacities, including building out the brand and marketing group as the enterprises grew and helping to develop a consulting division focused on for-profit and nonprofit clients.
Jerod is driven to impact others and leave a legacy. These are deeply instilled values he learned from his father, who was not only a great businessman but, more importantly, a great father. Following in his footsteps, Jerod is a devoted family man who considers his greatest role in life to be husband to his wife Kara and father to their three children Brekken, Crew, and Isla.
